"CUJO" is both a magazine and a guide to the imaginary and to the specific territory of the world of an artist, consisting of a special project done by him.
"CUJO" is free, distributed by hand and published in 1000 copies, which are individually customized by the artist. In fact, "CUJO" explicitly commissions the artist to produce a sort of crafty "uniqueness" which consists of an inedited intervention based on the manipulation of the structural materials of the magazine (cover, paper, colours ).
The artists invited to take part of "CUJO" are selected for the richness, density and singularity of their imaginary. Each of them is involved in the whole process of the project: from the idea to the production, and to the specific work on the magazine.
Furthermore, each artist is asked to provide a list of personal places, spread around the planet that he loves and that, somehow, represent him. These locations, published in the last two pages of the magazine, become distribution points.
"CUJO" is a magazine curated by Andrea Lissoni.
